Paper Pot Shabu Reviews (805)
This hotpot place is very much reminiscent of Jazz cat, however the only difference is that it's in a basket and paper! I thought the menu was a little confusing to understand because it wasn't really explained to us when ordering. Inside they have plenty of tables and for parties of all size. The soups were okay, and it was fun to try less
I'm not gonna lie, this place has a pretty interesting concept. They use wooden baskets with what looks like construction paper with a coating as the soup pot, hence the name Paper Pot Shabu. Paper didn't fall apart, and lasted through the entire meal. Meat quality was great, good assortment of veggies, and I almost had to get rolled out with my friend. Servers were super attentive and nice. Try this place! ENJOY! PS: They've got a parking lot. No need to fret! less
I highly recommend trying Paper Pot for their amazing soup base, particularly the Miso Pork Bone Broth which is bursting with flavor and richness. However, for the price, the meat portion felt a bit lacking, and it would have been great to have more sides like fish cake or mushroom included. The ambiance was quiet since we were the first ones there for dinner, and the service was excellent with fast food delivery and attentive order-taking. less
I enjoy paper pot shabu. Their spicy pork bone broth has so much flavor! It had so much flavor that my boyfriend kept dipping his lamb into my paper pot shabu! Talk about annoying. I'm JK. I didn't mind. I knew that my broth tasted better haha. The parking is not bad. I can usually find parking. The service is a tad bit slow and you have to wave down the servers but I didn't mind. The restaurant is good for small and large groups. If you have 5 or more people in your party, then you can call ahead and make a reservation. They serve alcohol. I would definitely revisit! less

This place is a STRUGGLE to find lol. It's located inside the plaza so you have to go in and take the elevator up. But this place's food is decently priced for the quality! I think this concept is so unique and it was fun trying it out. I picked the choice ribeye with tomato broth and it was really good! 10 oz. of ribeye for $30, which includes veggies for free. You can upgrade to get more veggies and dumplings for $4 too! Overall for two people, we spent $70 (before tip) but obviously the price depends on the meat you ordered! The service was okay, the servers were really nice but at times it was hard to get ahold of them. I would definitely recommend this place to others who love trying new hotpot/ shabu places! less
